Midsummer
During the lightest part of the year, with the longest day and shortest night, the magic of the land was thought to be particularly strong, blessing nature everywhere with light and warmth.
The stone circle of Boscawen-un is thought to have served as sacred gathering place for the surrounding tribal villages of the Celts, with its poignant leaning stone in the centre and its anchor quartz cube.
As we bath in nature’s abundance at this Midsummer time, we will play with clay to form our very own amulets charged with this potent energy to aid, ground and support us when worn.
We will also experiment with intuitive painting techniques inspired by the beauty of this special landmark.
TO BRING: Your favourite paints, pads and brushes as well as something to sit on.
ABILITY: To reach Boscawen-un Stone circle we will take a level track for a 15min walk.
